The Longines Masters of Paris: when glamour meets sports performances
On Friday night, Longines had the pleasure to participate as its Founding Partner in the 5th edition of the Riders Masters Cup. This unique show jumping competition opposed the two world equestrian powers, Europe and the American continent. In front of an ecstatic crowd and at the end of 10 spectacular duels, Team Europe composed of Martin Fuchs, Kevin Staut, Jos Verlooy, Darragh Kenny and Henrik von Eckermann took the win for the fifth time.
On Saturday December 7, Longines timed the muchawaited Longines Speed Challenge, known as the world’s fastest trial and claimed by Italian rider Emanuele Gaudiano on Carlotta 232. Eric Lamaze (CAN) and his mount Fine Lady 5 finished second ahead of Steve Guerdat (SWI) on Ulysse des Forêts. The winner of this competition was also presented with an elegant watch in celebration of his remarkable performance.
During the 2019 edition of the Longines Masters of Paris, the Swiss watchmaking brand was proud to present a model of its emblematic line, The Longines Master Collection, as the Official Watch of the event. This timepiece, featuring a moon phase indicator, perfectly embodies the values of excellence and elegance that have contributed to building the brand’s reputation across the world.
